Applications for the 29th Science Olympiads First Stage Exam 2021 have begun!
TÜBİTAK conducts the 2202 - Science Olympiads Program in order to create critical and qualified human resources in basic and computer sciences, with respect to the needs and priorities of our country. It aims to encourage students to conduct work in these fields, to direct their studies, and to prepare them for the national and international olympiads.
In this context, the Science Olympiad First Stage Exam will be held in 81 cities, and in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (Nicosia) on July 3, 2021 in Computer Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Middle School Computer Science, and Middle School Mathematics categories.

Applications for the 2202 Science Olympiad Program have been extended to 10 June 2021!
2022 Science Olympiad Program; Applications for the First Stage Exam in Computer Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Middle School Computer Science, Middle School Mathematics have been extended until 17:00 on Thursday, June 10, 2021.
The First Stage Exam will be held simultaneously in 81 provinces and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (Nicosia) on July 3, 2021.

The International Mathematics Olympiad Team Selection Exam Schedule is Announced!
To select students who will represent our country in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2021, a Team Selection Exam will be held between 19-20-21 May 2021 between 09.00-13.30, at the Gebze/Kocaeli TÜBİTAK TÜSİDE campus (Barış Mah, Koşuyolu Cad. No: 48, 41401 Gebze /Kocaeli).
All students and guardians who request accommodation to participate in the event will be accommodated in the TÜSSİDE campus.
Details about the exam will be sent to the students via email.

Turkish Rankings of Science Olympiads have been determined!
The Second Stage of the “2202 Science Olympiads Programme” exam results are announced. We carry it out to stimulate middle school and high school students’ interest in basic sciences and computers, to prepare students for the National Science Olympiads, and to ensure that they represent our country at the forefront in International and Regional Science Olympiads, in which the students who won medals at the national level are determined.
The First Stage Exam of the program, for which applications were received between 13 July and 12 August 2020, was held on 29 August 2020 with the participation of 6,200 students in 76 provinces.
After evaluating the results, 276 high school students —57 from Computer Sciences, 53 from Biology, 50 from Physics, 56 from Chemistry, and 60 from Mathematics— and 109 middle school students —57 from Middle School Computer Science and 52 from Middle School Mathematics— were determined to be successful in the First Stage Exam. Of these 385 students, 296 were boys and 89 were girls. These students were invited to the Summer School and Second Stage Exam.
Between 2-12 March 2021, the Second Stage Exam was held, which determined which students will receive a national level medal, will be rewarded with an additional coefficient in the university exam, will benefit from the 2205-Undergraduate Scholarship Program, and will receive monetary award. As a result, 173 students received medals in the following categories:
In the Computer Science Category: 4 Gold, 8 Silver and 12 Bronze
In the Biology Category: 4 Gold, 8 Silver, 13 Bronze
In the Physics Category: 4 Gold, 8 Silver and 12 Bronze
In the Chemistry Category: 5 Gold, 8 Silver and 11 Bronze
In the Mathematics Category: 4 Gold, 8 Silver and 15 Bronze
In the Middle School Computer Science Category: 5 Gold, 7 Silver and 12 Bronze
In the Middle School Mathematics Category: 4 Gold, 8 Silver, 13 Bronze.
We would like to thank all students who took part in the Science Olympiad process, their families, teachers, and all academics who took part in the training, and especially our committee chairs.
